About TwinCounsel

Your Legal Twin
For Solo and Independent Attorneys

AI was supposed to democratize access.
In legal, it hasn't. We're here to change that.

Why We're Building This

AI was supposed to democratize access. In legal, it hasn't. The biggest, flashiest AI colleagues are chasing big law and the 'Mr. 100' while solos are left with checklists and generic AI that starts cold every time — and in many cases can't even get a demo. There's a real product development mismatch in legal tech, and solos are on the losing side of it.

We see solos as the entrepreneurs of the legal profession. That's personal for us. Josh grew up in a small family business and has spent his career as an entrepreneur. He knows what it's like to be responsible for every detail, every client, every fire drill. Solo and small-firm lawyers live that reality every day.

We're not trying to replace that entrepreneurial grit — we're trying to give it leverage. TwinCounsel exists so solo attorneys can practice with a legal twin that handles its half — keeping their independence without sacrificing capability. The promise is simple: give solos the freedom to choose — do more work and grow, or go home at a reasonable hour — without sacrificing quality for clients.

Our Values

Built for Solos, Not Big Law

The flashiest AI tools chase enterprise contracts and big law. We build for the entrepreneurs of legal — practitioners who carry everything themselves.

Leverage, Not Replacement

We're not trying to replace your entrepreneurial grit — we're trying to give it leverage. Your legal twin handles its half of the practice while you keep your independence.

Your Choice

Do more work and grow, or go home at a reasonable hour. TwinCounsel gives you the freedom to choose — without sacrificing quality for clients.
