What is the Bronco Venture Accelerator?

The Bronco Venture Accelerator (BVA) is a startup accelerator program run by Santa Clara University’s Ciocca Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The program supports SCU alumni, students, and faculty founders building early-stage ventures.

TwinCounsel Joins BVA Cohort 7

TwinCounsel was selected for BVA7, joining over 25 founders from across the Santa Clara University community. The cohort included ventures spanning AI, healthcare, sustainability, and legal technology.

The accelerator provided:

  • Mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs and industry experts
  • Access to SCU’s innovation resources and network
  • Structured programming to refine product-market fit
  • Preparation for Demo Day presentations to investors

BVA7 Demo Day

On October 10, 2025, the BVA7 cohort presented at Demo Day, showcasing their ventures to investors, mentors, and the broader Silicon Valley community.

Co-founder Josh Dorward, a Santa Clara University JD/MBA graduate (2008), presented TwinCounsel’s vision for bringing AI-powered assistance to solo attorneys and small law firm teams.

What’s Next for TwinCounsel?

With the concierge MVP complete, TwinCounsel is now building a production product with legal-grade security. The team is applying learnings from a two-month embed at a San Jose law firm and dozens of interviews with attorneys and legal professionals to create an AI assistant purpose-built for how legal teams actually work.
